Meet Your Trainer:

Jon West

Jon spent the majority of his career in strategic design consulting at MAYA Design, leading large projects across diverse industries such as healthcare, consumer products, and technology. The role encompassed overseeing teams from the initial concept to the design, testing, and development of groundbreaking new products, services, and business models.

He later served for 8 years on the leadership team at LUMA Institute, an organization dedicated to fostering human-centered teamwork, collaboration, and innovation. In the capacity of Chief Customer Officer, he was responsible for revenue generation, shaping go-to-market strategies, and overseeing delivery operations. The role also involved building and managing customer-facing teams, which included relationship managers as well as a global network of instructors and facilitators.

Shereen Tawfiq

Shereen is no stranger to firsts. She was one of the first Saudi women to work in banking, back when women and men were not allowed to mix at work.

Her passion for real-world financial analysis led her to be the go-to person in her department for anyone wanting a crash course in accounting.

She was also the first Saudi woman to gain an MBA from Wharton and has acted as an advisor to the Ministry for Economy and Planning in Saudi, where she helped to embed an entrepreneurial and venture capital culture within the country.

Her experiences have forged her purpose, which is to empower women anywhere in the world to be skilled and confident in money matters.

Josiane Adem

Josiane has operated in financial planning and analysis for more than 16 years now, leading as well a team of financial analysts for more than 10 years. The most prominent companies Josiane worked for are Societe Generale de Banque du Liban SAL based in Lebanon, and JPA Advisors of the Dubai, UAE Branch. 

Josiane is also a Certified Management Accountant - CMA from the Institute of Management Accountants USA.

Josiane has strong communication skills from working and managing different departments while building her career, and her core business competencies include budgeting and forecasting, profitability analysis, cost optimization and financial modeling, database modeling and decision-making.
